Sensorless Tracking Control Based on Sliding Mode for the “Full-Bridge Buck Inverter–DC Motor” System Fed by PV Panel

This paper presents a sliding mode control (SMC) for the “full-bridge Buck inverter–DC motor” system when photovoltaic (PV) panel is considered as power supply. The executes trajectory tracking task related to angular velocity of DC motor shaft without need electromechanical sensors. proposed validated through realistic simulation results via Matlab-Simulink. In this regard, constructed by using electronic components specialized systems library Simscape. following four case studies are presented: (i) performance closed-loop considering two desired profiles and three different incident solar irradiance shapes on PV panel. (ii) An analysis associated with primary energy source. (iii) A comparison SMC versus passive control. (iv) study current ripple its relationship execution velocity.
